Inter Miami CF is looking for a Merchandise and Licensing intern that will assist the merchandise and licensing team in supporting various functions related to product development, brand licensing and retail operations. This internship provides hands on experience in managing merchandise assortments, tracking inventory, supporting licensing partnerships, and executing marketing strategies to increase brand reach. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to gain experience in brand merchandising and licensing within a dynamic environment. This position will be a Part-time seasonal paid internship.

Job Responsibilities and duties: 

  • Opportunity to learn and contribute to a variety of aspects within the Merchandises and Licensing department.  
  • Organization of samples and merchandise showroom.  
  • Maintaining documents and assisting with mailing projects.  
  • Assisting with building presentations.  
  • Assist in the planning, design and development of merchandise, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and seasonal trends.  
  • Help manage inventory by tracking products orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.  
  • Collaborate with the licensing team to support partnerships, including contract compliance, artwork approval, and ensuring products meet licensing standards.  
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research to identify merchandise and licensing trends, potential partners, and opportunities for product expansion.  
  • Support cross-functional teams on seasonal launches, special events and marketing initiatives related to merchandise.  
  • Maintain organized files and database, help with reporting, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.  

Requirements

  • Applicants must be current students pursuing a undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing, business, merchandising or related field, or recent graduates who completed their degree no more than six months prior to the application deadline. 
  •  Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with e-commerce platforms or design software is a plus.  
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.  
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, under deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.  
  • Must be able to work 20 hours per week.  
  • Spanish speaker is a plus. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • Ability to commute to multiple work locations, including our Coral Gables office, Chase Stadium, and the Miami International Airport store.

  • Start date:  January 14th, 2026 

 Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship, without interruption. Candidates must not require sponsorship for a work visa from Inter Miami CF now or in the future to maintain their authorization to work in the U.S.
