About FC Tulsa
FC Tulsa is a professional soccer club based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, competing in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship, the second tier of American soccer. Our mission is to provide top-tier entertainment and competitive soccer matches while fostering community engagement and development of the sport at all levels.
Overview:
FC Tulsa is seeking motivated individuals to join our Training Academy and Camps & Clinics Staff for the upcoming Summer season. This role would work directly with the Training Academy Director, primarily focusing on planning, implementing, and executing Camps & Clinics operations. Our Motto: “For Tulsa” is at the center of all that we do. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in sports management, event planning, and operations within a youth soccer environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the marketing, promotion, and organization of Training Academy Camps and Clinics
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of Camps and Clinics, including but not limited to signage, banners, promotional materials, and equipment.
- Engage with attendees before, during, and after events, providing assistance, answering questions, and enhancing their overall experience.
- Support the execution of Training Academy promotions, Camps & Clinics activities, and sponsor activations to enhance brand visibility.
- Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, partners, and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the coordination and execution of special events hosted by FC Tulsa Training Academy and Camps/Clinics Programming.
- Assist in coordinating and fulfilling Camps & Clinics partner assets, community events, and social media assets
- Perform administrative support tasks
- Assist in coordinating equipment rentals for FC Tulsa events
- Assist in ensuring events are operating at a high standard
- Build and edit event guides
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Candidate must be in Tulsa or the surrounding area. This position requires to be in person.
- Enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in sports management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the team's game schedule.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for soccer and a desire to pursue a career in the sports industry.
