Purpose of Role

The Material Rookie position has been designed to support the overall material sourcing operation for the LATAM region. Within this position you will learn and apply basic textile material knowledge and documentation. The position is focused to continuously organize the digital and physical material library and resource systems. It also enables to fully communicate with internal and external teams to follow up and fulfill monthly/seasonal scheduled milestones. This position enables the Sr. Manager and multiple teammates to execute a successful Sourcing strategy and alignment in region. A successful teammate will learn to have on time deliverables, organized calendar, updated information, and knowledge of the business.

Your Impact

• Learn and prepare material specification templates as part of the resourcing process.
• Contribute to prepare scorecards for quarterly and seasonal meetings with T2's.
• Maintain an organized material library for team access.
• Learn and develop skills for materials/trim submission review and approval.
• Audit materials and trims monthly processes completion in T2's and UA team.
• Support the salesman samples process with reporting and follow up.
• Prepare team presentations and templates, as well as communicating updates to T2's.
• Coordinating material and trims samples logistics.
• Other activities related to the rookie professional development.

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Panama City office. 
• Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week. The remainder of the work week remote. 

Base Compensation

• Monthly Compensation: $700.00 plus 50.00 Meal allowance (Vale General).
• Weekly hours: 40 hours.
• Duration: 18 months or graduate from college (whatever happens first).
