The Rose Bowl Game Mentorship Program is a unique mentoring opportunity that connects college students in the Los Angeles area, who are interested in careers in the sports industry, with experienced Rose Bowl Game personnel.

The program, which consists of both virtual and in-person components, is designed to provide mentees with career guidance and access to the inner workings of Rose Bowl Game operations and the team behind "The Granddaddy of Them All." By broadening the mentees professional network and providing insightful feedback for real-world application, the program experience is designed to provide opportunities for the mentees to learn and navigate a successful career within the sports industry.

The Rose Bowl Game Mentorship Program is open to two-year and four-year college students who are seeking careers in the sports industry with an emphasis in events, marketing, media, production, or operations. The program consists of a three-month mentorship experience that will begin in the first week of October 2025, and conclude in January of 2026. As part of this mentorship, the mentees will have the opportunity to attend behind-the-scenes meetings and events during the month of December, and will also be provided with two tickets to attend the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential on January 1, 2026.

The program will select a total of six mentees, who will each be paired with a Rose Bowl Game staff member in a one-on-one format that aligns with the mentee's area of interest. The program will begin with an in-person welcome orientation and will continue with weekly scheduled Zoom calls, including a meeting with the Rose Bowl Game Chief Administrative Officer, and the opportunity for paid in-person work opportunities in various areas that will provide valuable resume experience. These opportunities are not guaranteed or required but can be flexible to accommodate the menteesโ€™ schedule and availability.

Students interested in applying for the program must be currently enrolled at one of the pre-approved institutions within 50 miles of the Tournament of Roses headquarters in Pasadena, Calif.

E-mail submissions are due no later than September 10, 2025. Applicants accepted for the program will be notified by September 26, 2025.
