ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship is coming to the State of Hockey — and this year marks its 50th anniversary. Minnesota Sports and Events (MNSE), the official sports commission for the state, is leading the charge to deliver an unforgettable experience. We're seeking two dynamic, outgoing interns to join our team in the lead-up to this once-in-ageneration event. Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week supporting a variety of promotional and community activations designed to build excitement and drive ticket sales. From youth hockey tournaments to press events and the “World Juniors on the Road” trophy tour, you'll be the face of MNSE and World Juniors at key engagements across the state.

  • Engage with event attendees, answer questions, and promote ticket sales
  • Confidently communicate the value and excitement of the World Juniors experience to drive ticket interest
  • Represent MNSE with enthusiasm and professionalism at all events
  • Support MNSE-hosted events including Champions Council gatherings and press conferences as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of auto insurance.

COMPENSATION

  • $20 per hour (time and a half on holidays)
