The Strategic Partnerships Intern will report to the Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships Community Impact and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of partner/sponsor contracts and agreements. They will assist with the ideation, implementation, activation, and fulfillment of all corporate partner agreements. They will be responsible for assisting with the community impact initiatives associated with sponsor-related activations.
They will work closely within the Community Impact and Partnership department to implement and execute sponsor contracts including the broadcast, internet promotions, hospitality, and social responsibility. This position is expected to work at all Atlanta Dream home games; as well as after-hour events as needed and determined by leadership.
Responsibilities:
Observe and assist the Strategic Partnerships and Community Impact Coordinator with all game day elements, including but not limited to special activations, pre-game, in-game and intermission promotions, hospitality events, promotional activations and displays
Read, understand, and explain corporate partnership contracts, and how to effectively communicate contractual assets to partners
Attend and assist in various duties with all partner events in-season and off-season
Manage and maintain corporate partnership relationships through effective written and oral communication
Assist in the development of annual partner recaps that will be used in season close-out meetings
Build relationships with each existing sponsor and through community work to provide high level of service
Identify opportunities to enhance activation assets through new programming
Track and maintain corporate partnership media assets
Preferred requirements:
Bachelorโs degree in Sports Management, Business or other related fields
Minimum of 1-year of partnership sports or industry-related experience
Job specific skills and abilities:
Highly proactive, results oriented and motivated with a positive attitude
Attention to detail
Must be proficient in computer software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, managing multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and clients at the same time
