About the Role  
The Washington Commanders are looking for seasonal team members to support our Marketing and Operations Department during 2025 Training Camp. This position will span approximately 4-5 weeks from mid-July to mid-August in Ashburn, VA. This position is intended for local college students and recent graduates seeking a summertime position in the sports industry. We are looking for coachable, self-motivated individuals with a passion to learn more about the planning and execution of NFL fan events. The position is hands-on. Team members will actively contribute to the daily execution of fan facing portions of Training Camp.  
  
Responsibilities  
  • Assist with the operations, hospitality, and entertainment aspects of Training Camp  
  • Set up and break down operational equipment and entertainment elements as needed leading up to, during, and after Training Camp  
  • Monitor assigned area(s) during open practice days. This may include fan and vendor   interactions within hospitality areas, VIP check-in, activation areas, and autograph sessions.  
  • Communicate with management staff when any questions or concerns arise  
  • Work with a team to deliver helpful, friendly, and professional customer service to enhance the fan experience  
  • Perform other duties as assigned  
  
Qualifications  
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or within 1 year post-grad 
  • Previous experience in events or customer service preferred but not required 
  • Must be available to work throughout the entire duration of Training Camp  
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Commanders Facility in Ashburn, VA 
  • Must take initiative, be able to adapt to a variety of situations, and work as a part of a team in a fast-pace, high-pressure environment  
  • Positive enthusiasm, friendly demeanor, professionalism and ability to work with adults and children is necessary  
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in varying weather conditions, climb up and down stairs, and lift heavy objects (at least 30 lbs.)  
  • Flexible work schedule to include early mornings, evenings and weekends
