Job Summary: The Cincinnati Reds Ticketing Department is seeking team-oriented individuals to fill a variety of internship roles for the 2026 regular season. Internship requires working both gamedays and non-gamedays throughout the regular season. Internships will begin in March of 2026 and will run through September 2026.  Internship roles include the following:

  • Ticketing Department Office Internships:
    • Single Game Ticketing
    • Group Sales
    • Premium Sales
    • Retention/Season Sales
    • Ticket Operations
    • Consumer Clubs
  • Ticketing Department Gameday Internships:
    • Gameday Sales & Service

  • Currently pursuing, or have achieved, an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Experience
  • Previous work or volunteer experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience assisting with or participating in large scale events
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting
  • Experience handling unexpected challenges and providing on the spot solutions.
Skills

  • Currently pursuing, or have achieved, an undergraduate or graduate degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience
  • Proficient with ticketing software including ProVenue
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet applications.
  • Prior background in sports management.
  • Experience in business to consumer sales.
  • Experience in client entertainment.
Skills

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Duty% of Time
Execute sales inside the ballpark on game days for ticket packages and Consumer Club memberships.25%
Work within Tickets.com ProVenue and Microsoft Dynamics CRM software.25%
Provide a high level of service utilizing RedsWay training for all customers by performing in seat-visits, assisting with guest services & staffing the VIP Ticket Concierge.25%
Assist in event operations including VIP Programming, Post-Game Concerts, Group Programming and Season Ticket Member & Consumer Clubs Events.20%
Perform other duties as assigned.5%

 Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to Ticketing Department Management

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally required to sit
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
  • Light lifting/carrying to assist with event preparation, up to 40 pounds
  • May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Willing to conduct business during non-traditional hours, utilizing games and events (including evenings and weekends) to interact with clients and prospects
