The Georgia Swarm Professional Lacrosse Organization is an esteemed member of the National Lacrosse League and the leading box lacrosse team in the greater Atlanta region. Our front office is based in Duluth, GA, and our games take place at the Gas South Arena.
EXPECTATIONS:
Please note that this is an unpaid internship which may be leveraged as appropriate for post-secondary course credit. The Videography Intern position for the Georgia Swarm will perform important digital marketing-related tasks assist and will report to the Digital Content Media Producer. This role plays a critical part in enhancing content not only on conventional digital platforms but also on emerging social media channels, aiming to enhance engagement and rapidly expand our viewership. The Videography Intern will work with full-time staff members to shoot/edit videos to promote all aspects of the team through social media. The intern will be expected to work nights and weekends for games and events.
POSITION DUTIES:
Formal training in videography and storytelling
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Cloud software
Knowledge of DSLR and Mirrorless cameras and lens systems
Lighting & audio knowledge
Possess great creativity, problem-solving skills and excellent time management
Able to gather content and quickly turn it around to produce a video during game days
Ability to oversee multiple projects from start to finish and meet deadlines
Log all game day content on the platform Grabyo/WSC
Learn color grading through Davincii
Create highlights and short reels
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Pursuing or have a degree in film, video production, media, marketing, journalism, communications, or related fields
Ability to commit to working at least 10 hours per week in-person during business hours through the 2025-26 season and all nine (9) Georgia Swarm home games, plus possible playoffs until late May
Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Experience producing short and long form videos
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to collaborate in a creative environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
Must have a video camera to produce film with
Own a Sony A camera or something similar for production quality.
