Position Summary:
Implements effective marketing and communication strategies. Responsible for brand compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Execute communications plan including key messages based on the defined priorities
- Create visual aspects of marketing materials, website and other media, including infographics
- Assist with a specific project or elements of the marketing and communications plan
- Maintain Association website/Facebook and other digital presence
- Photography
- Video/PowerPoint production
- Create customizable templates for department use, including but not limited to program posters/flyers/postcards, day camp brochures, membership forms, etc.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related area preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical support experience preferred.
- Excellent communications, problem solving and customer service attitude and skills required.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently.
- Individual should be a fast-learner with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks to successful completion.
- May requires travel to our off-site locations.
- Able to lift 25lbs as a normal component of system setups and moves.
- Ability to train and instruct users.
- Experience with printers, pre-press techniques, videography and editing, photography and production, and typography.
- Knowledge of the media and its use in gaining exposure for YMCA events and programs.
- Must have good interpersonal, public relations and communications skills, including the ability to handle media inquiries.
