POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Premium Sales Development Intern to join our team as we prepare for the 2026 season. This internship provides an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in premium ticket sales, hospitality, and business development with one of the fastest-growing professional sports leagues in North America.
As a member of the Premium Sales team, you will play a key role in supporting the leagueโs premium ticketing and VIP hospitality outbound prospecting and sales efforts, working closely with the Premium Team to prospect new business opportunities, build relationships, and ensure world-class experiences at PLL event weekends. This role is perfect for an aspiring sports business professional looking to develop their sales acumen, gain exposure to premium ticketing strategy in live sports and ultimately sharpen their sales expertise to gain an advantage for future opportunities.
Hands-On Sales Experience: Learn the fundamentals of ticket sales and premium hospitality in a professional sports environment.
Industry Knowledge: Gain insight into sports business operations, revenue generation, and event execution.
Exposure to Sports Executives: Work closely with league leadership, sales professionals, and high-profile clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in outbound sales efforts for premium seating, suite sales and VIP experiences.
- Conduct prospecting and lead generation, researching potential clients and reaching out via email and phone.
- Consistently hit daily and monthly KPI targets for calls, emails and overall touchpoints.
- Support the sales process, by prospecting, creating lead lists, preparing proposals, contracts, and other sales materials.
- Develop a deep understanding of premium ticketing products.
- Track and update sales pipelines and customer interactions in CRM software.
- Work closely with the Premium Sales Team to identify new sales opportunities and enhance client experiences.
- Assist in planning VIP hospitality experiences for corporate partners and high-net-worth guests.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently enrolled in college or able to receive college credit for the internship (college credit only)
- 20 hours per week
- Previous sales and/or prospecting experience (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Passion for sports sales, business development, and premium experiences.
- Ability to prospect, research, and build relationships with potential clients.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
