SUMMARY: The Stage Manager, Live Programming & Entertainment will be responsible for the preparation, execution and break-down of all in-arena live entertainment needs before, during and after all Milwaukee Bucks home games. This role will also serve as an event lead at Milwaukee Bucks events in-arena and throughout the community.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:   

  • Assist in the execution of all in-game elements including, but not limited to, halftimes, in-arena promotions, pre- and post-game activities, anthems, mascot, entertainment teams, game staff, control room, etc.
  • Play key role in the management of all props and giveaways.
  • Serve as a member of Bucks Entertainment both in-arena and in the community.
  • Support members of Bucks Entertainment including mascot, performers, control room and more.
  • Assist with building in-arena elements and content with a focus on fan interaction during pre- and post-game, including but not limited to, plaza activities and concourse activations.
  • All other related duties as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Pursuit of, or recent graduate with, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Interest in gaining knowledge of live programming and entertainment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive, upbeat personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Availability to work ALL Milwaukee Bucks home games and other special events as needed.
  • Reliable, punctual, and courteous.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. 
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
  • Unlimited physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
